Create group conversations between buyers, agents and lenders via Zillow in-app messaging in FUB

Note: This feature is currently available to select Zillow Premier Agent partners in 8 markets for their Zillow leads and requires having two-way Zillow integration enabled.

With this feature, you can introduce your buyers to your preferred Zillow Home Loans loan officer directly from FUB using Zillow’s in-app warm introduction feature. This replaces text and email communication for introducing your buyer and loan officer during a transfer, making it easier for you to connect the dots and move buyers forward.

What’s new?

  • 🤝 Make warm handoffs more effective: Zillow Messages in FUB is now the primary channel for sending lender introductions. By using Zillow Messages, you’ll help buyers feel supported while keeping all parties aligned in one shared thread.
  • 📈 Increase engagement: Your buyer receives the warm intro as a Zillow push notification (if enabled) and text, making it easy for them to reply in the moment, without worrying about spam filters or missed messages.
  • 📲 Keep everyone in sync: The entire three-way conversation lives in your FUB inbox, Recent Messages (on FUB mobile), and on the buyer’s lead profile in the Comms tab, so it’s easy to stay organized and informed.

How it works

To initiate a transfer to Zillow Home Loans in Follow Up Boss, navigate to the "Lender" section within the lead profile, and select your preferred loan officer as usual (see how here). When prompted to introduce your buyer and loan officer, you'll see the option to send the warm intro via Zillow Messages. This will be the default option when a Zillow Message conversation exists.

The full message thread will appear in:

  • Your FUB inbox (mobile + desktop)
  • The Recent Messages section (mobile)
  • The timeline on your buyer’s lead profile (mobile + desktop)
What your buyer sees: A clean, professional message introducing your preferred Zillow Home Loans’s loan officer, giving them a clear next step.

What your loan officer gets: Immediate context and an open line of communication, all in one thread.
