This update lets account owners lock down important information in specific custom fields by making the fields read-only.
You can use read-only custom fields to keep track of important data that should remain intact and unchanged by agent and lender users, such as agent commissions or the referral source of particular leads.
Account owners can set existing fields as read-only on desktop, as well as set new fields to βread-onlyβ during creation.
Read-only custom fields can be edited by account owners and admin team members on desktop. Other team members see a padlock icon indicating the field as read-only.
If the read-only custom field has a large amount of text, a dropdown can be opened on desktop to view and copy the full contents. On the iPhone app, users can tap into a read-only custom field to view the full contents.
Third party integrations can also now create and set read-only custom fields via the Follow Up Boss API.
